Jane Saunders Stadium

Oregon's State Flower

Two large scale Oregon wildflower sculptures hug the exterior of Jane Saunders Stadium. Installed on the stadium’s facade, the works reinterpret Oregon’s state flower as bold, open steel forms that catch light, animate the surface, and form a distinct visual identity for the venue. The wildflowers offer architectural punctuation and a tribute to the region’s natural heritage. The sculptures were fabricated as precision cut steel designed to withstand Oregon’s weather, maintain clarity at distance, and integrate seamlessly with the stadium’s geometry. The result is a pair of vibrant place markers that connect athletic space with local ecology.
